Founded as a family business in 1985, Doğuş Çay began in tea production. Over the years, the group expanded into sugar, tomato paste, savory snacks, cold beverages and energy.
In 2013, the acquisition of Kraft Foods Türkiye’s snacks business added the Patos, Cipso and Çerezos brands, alongside manufacturing experience, category expertise and operational know-how.
A new chapter in the heart of Europe.
Karakan Foods Hungary Kft. is the European savory-snacks manufacturing platform of Doğuş Çay and is 100% owned by the group.
We are developing a production base in Orosháza, Hungary, to serve branded, private-label and contract-manufacturing opportunities across Europe. The project combines group food expertise with a Central European location and a long-term development direction.
